From Sluggish Mom to Super Fit Mom: How Jess is making it happen

Before joining Training for Warriors Stockyards, I struggled with nagging lower back pain, high levels of stress and super lower energy. Having to care for and chase after my 3 beautiful daughters made all the struggle that much harder. I also struggled with staying consistent with any sort of workout. I especially didn’t enjoy it so I ended up dreading it, and not doing it.

I knew coach Jeff from grade school actually; during and after giving birth to my last child I had reached out to him for some guidance and coaching. He helped design strength routines to strengthen my core and my back muscles. I was really impressed with the results I got and wanted to continue with my fitness after pregnancy, so back in October, I signed up for their 8-week transformation challenge! And that’s when I was hooked.
Since then, I have produced many significant results, both external and internal. I look better than I ever have in my entire life! I have abs, arms and leg muscles. I FEEL like I’m in shape. I can do things without wearing out. Plus, my body is capable of so much; pull-ups, deadlifts, etc. But more than that, I started working on my mental and spiritual being. And those 2 combined have helped me with my anxiety, stress and overall mental/spiritual health more than I could have imagined. I learned that I am actually capable of doing way more than I thought and that has translated into every aspect of my life.
BEFORE:136 lbs @ 24% BODY FAT   NOW: 130 lbs @ 17% BODY FAT
Top 3 Tips That Helped Jessica In Her Transformation:
1) Workout with a Community. You are supported, challenged, and the atmosphere is fun, inviting and energetic. Makes you want to work out!!! 
2)Make it a lifestyle, not a “diet”. Translating it from the dojo to your everyday routine with nutrition and rest. 
3) Utilizing your coaches. They are ALWAYS available for questions, support, and individual help. I’m struggling with back pain-Do these stretches. I don’t have weights on vacation but want to work out – Do these exercises. Here’s my food lo, what do you think about my choices? Quit eating sugar, drink more water. They are fully invested in you and want the best for you!!
